CHANGES are being made next month (May) to bus services in Plymouth, South Devon and East Cornwall operated by First to further streamline the local network.

Among the most significant changes which start on Sunday 25 May is a restructuring of the services operating between Plymouth and Tavistock which will include a direct service linking the two.

There are also changes to the Woolwell service which now calls at The George Park & Ride site.

Alex Carter, Managing Director for First Devon & Cornwall, says: “The changes are to improve the attractiveness and efficiency of our services especially along the Northern Corridor routes.

“Feedback from customers has been crucial to making decisions about some of the routes, for example, the evening services which now call at Mutley.

We have again taken great care to ensure that the service changes reflect their usage and that all the local communities in the area continue to have regular and reliable bus services.”
