Two people were rescued from a lift in Exeter at around midnight last night (March 15).
The Fire Service received a call and two crews from Danes Castle were sent to the incident at Birks Grange, New North Road.
Upon arrival crews got to work attempting to gain entry and at 12.42am the two people were released from the lift cage unharmed, using small tools.
