Crews tackle fire at Exeter industrial estate
The Fire Service was called to a baler on fire at Marsh Barton Industrial Estate, Exeter, this morning (March 15).
One fire crew from Danes Castle Exeter and one from Middlemoor Exeter attended the fire at Devon Contract Waste at around 8am.
Fire crews confirmed it involved a plastics baling machine within an industrial building. Crews extinguished the fire using one hose reel jet. The cause of the fire is believed to be accidental.
