MID Devon Police has reported three incidents of damage to parked cars over the previous fortnight.
Overnight Saturday February 15 and Sunday February 16, a white works Vauxhall van parked securely and unattended in Holly Close, Tiverton was damaged in an attempt to gain entry to the vehicle.
Nothing was stolen, however £450 worth of damage was caused to the rear doors.
That same night, a white Mercedes estate car and a white LDV van were subject to criminal damage whilst parked in Westwood Road, Crediton.
Both vehicles suffered damage to their tyres and one vehicle had its windscreen smashed.
Crediton Police would like to hear from anyone who may have witnessed the incidents or have information that will assist in identifying those responsible.
Information can be passed confidentially on the 101 non emergency number or anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555111 quoting crime reference numbers KC/14/93 and KC/14/95.
On the same Sunday, between 3.30pm and 3.45pm, a silver Citroen C3 was damaged whilst parked next to the Grand Western Canal.
Nothing was stolen but the rear window was smashed.
