RED and yellow and pink and green . . . I can run a rainbow. Can you?

The Children’s Hospice South-West is hoping to add a little colour to your life when its hugely successful Rainbow Run comes to Devon in June.

The CHSW Rainbow Run at Exeter Racecourse on June 8 will be a 5k sponsored fun run (or walk) where participants start the event in a pristine white T-shirt and throughout the run get showered in the colours of the rainbow, ending with a huge smile.

Participants will pass through five ‘Rainbow Stations’ where they will be showered with different coloured powder paints, which are 100% natural and safe.

Marina Leadbetter, events fundraiser at CHSW’s Little Bridge House, said: “Last year we held the UK’s first Rainbow Run in Bristol, and we were so overwhelmed by the success of the event and the enthusiasm of the participants we just had to bring the event closer to our supporters in Devon.”
