Police are appealing for witnesses to come forward after a fatal collision near Totnes.
Just before 2pm on Friday 14th February 2014 a single vehicle collision occurred on the A385 near Harberton. The vehicle, a black Ford Focus was travelling from Totnes towards Avonwick when it left the road and collided with a tree.
The driver, the single occupant of the vehicle, received injuries which proved to be fatal.
He has been named as Richard Golborn, aged 47, from Plymouth.
The road was closed while investigations took place at the scene and reopened around 8.45pm.
Members of the public assisted with first aid at the scene and officers are now keen to trace anyone who witnessed the collision or saw the car travelling shortly before the incident to call police on 101 quoting reference 493 of February 14.
