Restaurant holds dinner of Typhoon appeal
A CHINESE restaurant in Tiverton held a Christmas charity dinner last night (Thursday) to raise money for people affected by the Philippines typhoon disaster, above.
The award-winning Golden Panda restaurant in Newport Street put on a special four-course menu for the appeal.
The restaurant aimed to raise £1,000 and had received £450 from various donations before the event.
