TIVERTON Swimming Club collected another batch of medals at the Yeovil Open, held at Millfield School in Street.
Four members of the junior development squad impressed head coach Dave Clift.
Sam Arrowsmith, ten, came away with eight medals – three golds, two silvers and three bronze – narrowly missing out on two regional times in the process.
Will Goffey, 12, achieved his county qualification time in the 100m freestyle and 11-year-olds Yasmin Smith and Lucy Revolta knocked big chunks off personal best times in their races.
Mr Clift said: “It’s great to see more swimmers from the Junior development squad taking part in competitive swimming.
“They all worked hard on the day and it’s brilliant to see their own performances improving as well as their gain in confidence.
“Last year we took a team of seven to this event – this year a team of 12 and next year we are looking to increase that number again.”
