Police in Plymouth investigating a 'disturbance' in the back of a cab are trying to trace the driver of a black hackney taxi in the city.
The driver picked up a man and a woman in the Octagon area of Union Street between 4am and 7am on Sunday, December 1 and took them to an address in Agaton Road, St Budeaux. The taxi went via St Budeaux Square, where the man got out of the taxi in order to withdraw money for the fare.
A disturbance is alleged to have taken place in the back of the taxi between the two passengers and the driver may be able to help police with some details about the incident.
The taxi driver who dropped the two passengers off to Agaton Road is described as a white male, over the age of forty. It is thought that this driver may have dropped a passenger off at this same address previously.
The taxi driver is asked to call 101 and quote the crime number ED/13/7281.
