Call for better access to medicine in the South-West

PEOPLE in the SouthWest support patients’ access to cancer medicines, a survey says.
It shows nine out of ten people in the South West want the NHS to offer levels of access to treatment at least comparable with other countries.
Almost half (45%) think it should be a world leader in the treatments available for patients and should pay for all treatments regardless of how much they cost, going beyond standard practice The survey was commissioned by Novartis, Roche Products Ltd and Sanofi.
