RECENT cases dealt with by Exeter Magistrates' Courts include: Gail Coffey, 51, of Hillcrest, Tiverton, driving without insurance, £600 fine, £60 victim surcharge, £85 costs, six points.

Simon Paul Woodall, 42, of Chapple Road, Witheridge, failed to give information relating to the identification of the driver of a vehicle, £600 fine, £15 victim surcharge, £85 costs, six points.

Jacek Wieczerkowski, 31, of Fairfax Drive, Cullompton, assault by beating, destroyed a mobile phone, 18 months conditional discharge, £15 victim surcharge, £85 costs. (G).

Ben Stephen Hartry, 19, of Pugsley Road, Tiverton, possession of cannabis, no separate penalty; possession in public of an offensive weapon, 16 weeks prison (concurrent) suspended for 12 months; possession in public of an offensive weapon, 16 weeks prison (concurrent) suspended for 12 months.

Anthony James Wise, 56, of Victoria Close, Willand, speeding, £43 fine, £45 victim surcharge, £60 costs, six points. (G).

Ethan Nash, 22, of Barrington Street, Tiverton, fraud, 16 weeks prison suspended for two years, 60 hours unpaid work.

Patricia Frampton, 57, of Chapel Street, Tiverton, failed to notify Department for Work and Pensions of a change of circumstances, nine months conditional discharge, £50 costs. (G).

Sarah Louise Bamber, 33, of St Peters Street, Tiverton, assaulted a police constable in the execution of his duty, two weeks prison (concurrent) suspended for 12 months, £50 compensation; assault by beating, six weeks prison suspended for 12 months, £100 compensation; breached a conditional discharge for assault, one week prison (concurrent) suspended for 12 months. Colin Gordon Eaton, 53, of Rena Hobson Court, Tiverton, theft, six months conditional discharge, £15 victim surcharge. (G).

Martyn Thomas, 41, of Heyridge Meadow, Cullompton, failed to provide a breath specimen, £400 fine, £40 victim surcharge, £40 costs, 14 months driving ban. (G).

Steven Bolland, 45, of Stagg Road, Willand, dropped a cigarette butt and left it in the street, £150 fine, £15 victim surcharge, £140 costs.
