Northern Devon NHS Trust hip replacement assessments receive praise

A PIONEERING scheme aimed at assessing the needs of hip replacement patients before undergoing surgery has won praise in an international medical journal.
A paper on the scheme, run by physiotherapists from Northern Devon NHS Trust, was published in Clinical Governance: An International Journal.
The team holds clinics at community hospitals across Devon, where patients are given in-depth care and support ahead of surgery.
