Find out what it takes to be a councillor at pre-election advice evening

THOSE interested in standing for election as a Devon County Councillor are invited to an information evening on at 7pm on Monday, March 25 at Phoenix House, Tiverton.

six seats up for election on 2 May in the Mid Devon area in Crediton Rural, Cullompton Rural, Newton St Cyres & Sandford, Tiverton East, Tiverton West and Willand & Uffculme.

District council electoral services staff will be on hand to give prospective candidates and agents an insight into the election process and will be able to answer questions. Nomination papers will also be available on the evening giving plenty of time before the deadline for their return by noon on Friday, April 5.
