Plymouth police are urging residents to be vigilant against opportunist burglars after a home was targeted in St Judes.
Police said that the property in Edith Avenue was targeted through an insecure door sometime between 9pm on Friday, January 25 and 10pm the next day.
They stole a black iPad 2, a white MacBook in a black case and a Dell laptop in a black bag.
Police are appealing for information and advising other householders in the area to take care by keeping doors and windows locked and secure at all times, particularly at night.
A spokesman said: "The majority of burglaries are caused by opportunists who steal from homes where windows are left open or doors are left either open or unlocked."
Anyone with information about the incident in Edith Avenue is asked to contact police on 101, quoting crime reference EC/13/818.
