AN electronic database of people in and around Wiveliscombe who work from home is to be set up thanks to an £865 windfall.
The 10 Parishes Business Group has been awarded the cash as an economic development business grant from Taunton Deane Council.
The money will be used to undertake an audit of businesses working from home.
A Deane Council spokesman said: “This work is crucial to undertake some higher level qualitative research among the businesses in order to tailor a business fair, and to ensur thate the right kind of agencies are present, and seminars are appropriate and meaningful to the businesses in the area.
“The information can be used by the businesses themselves to combat isolation and promote collaborative working by the public to encourage local trading.”
