A COUNTRY manor house and grounds has been given £27,420 funding to help promote the arts.
Cockington Court, a craft centre and visitor attraction in Torquay set in the grounds of a country estate and which is steeped in history, made a successful bid for funding from Arts Council England which it will use to promote arts – culminating in a two-day ceramic festival next May.
Hundreds of people a year flock to Cockington Court's historic manor house.
