Coffee mornings raise hundreds for good causes

First published in Devon by

COFFEE-LOVING parishioners at Wellington United Reformed Church have raised their cups to support two good causes.

They have handed over cheques for £400 to the Children’s Hospice South- West and 40 Commando Royal Marines after two fundraising coffee mornings this month.

Barclays is topping up the total raised to £1,600.

The Fore Street church, which has a long connection with the children’s hospice, as the charity supported the family of a member, raises money for charity every Christmas.
