Plymouth police have released an image of two men who they believe may have important evidence in an assault case.
The victim, a 20 year old man from the city was hit around the head with a belt a number of times in the Armada Street area at around 5.30 am on Sunday, November 18. The assault then continued into North Hill outside the University.
The victim was treated by paramedics.
The image shows two men who police think saw the incident and they are urging them to come forward.
Police are also keen to speak with anyone who thinks they may have witnessed the assault or could provide any information.
The attacker is described as a Asian man, 5`6-5`7 in height, skinny to medium build, with short black hair with a little facial hair, aged in his 20’s. He was wearing dark jeans with a black round neck jumper.
