TEMPERATURES will reach sub-zero levels again tonight (Friday) after this morning's frosty start.

It will be a dry night with freezing fog in patches and a widepread frost, making for potentially dangerous driving conditions on flooded or wet roads.

Saturday will start with a widespread frost until temperatures steadily climb from around 9am to a midday high of 7 degrees Celsius. Saturday night into Sunday morning will be relatively frost-free, although ice is expected in some rural and exposed areas.

The start of next week looks reasonably warm for the time of year, with midday highs of 10 degress Celsius on Monday and Tuesday and no forecast frosts overnight.
