A motorcyclist has died after a crash near Kingsbridge on Sunday.
The fatal collision took place on the A379 between Stokenham and Torcross at approximately 2.40pm
A police spokesman said: "A black Triumph Speed 4 ridden by a 19 year old man from the Totnes area collided with a silver Mitsubishi Colt which was being driven by a 24 year old man from the Kingsbridge area.
"The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene and an investigation is being undertaken by the serious collisions investigation unit. His family have been informed and he has been named as Hadley Bishop."
The Air Ambulance was also called out and the road closed to protect emergency service personnel working at the scene.
