Casualty rescued from Truro blaze

A casualty had to be rescued from a fire on George Street, Truro on Saturday.

Firefighters were called out to the fire in some properties under construction on Saturday, shortly before 7pm.

Crews from Truro attended and used two breathing apparatus and one hosereel along with a thermal imaging camera to deal with the incident.

A fire service spokesman said that one casualty was rescued from the building by fire service personnel and left in the care of ambulance personnel.
