Charity auction boost for Porthleven lights

Porthleven’s Atlantic Inn has hosted the annual harvest auction in aid of the port’s Christmas lights display last Thursday. Organised by Porthleven Lights Committee, more than £700 was raised.
The auction ran from 8.30pm onwards. As is customary, homemade goods and locally grown produce were brought in and sold, including a cake baked by pub landlord Adrian Santi.
Peter Collins, who was in charge of the auction this year, said the event ran smoothly and everyone was satisfied with the amount of money raised.
