Bursary set up to support Redruth charities
9:40am Sunday 30th September 2012 in Cornwall
Redruth has been chosen as one of the towns to receive support from a South West heating oil and lubricant firm.
OJ Williams, which has a branch on the Cardrew Industrial Estate, has launched a bursary fund to help worthy causes and projects in the Redruth area.
The fund is open to all types of community groups, events or charitable organisations in or around Redruth.
This could be anything from a tombola prize to a new football kit, or even money towards a new minibus.
The only requirement is that the funds benefit people in the areas supplied by OJ Williams.
To receive the funding the company is calling for nominations outlining how the money will be used in less than 200 words.
This must include the name of the charity or cause, its function, location and contact details.
Suggestions must be submitted before Friday, October 31 and successful applicants will be notified shortly afterwards.
For any organisation that receives support from the Bursary Fund, terms and conditions will apply.
To enter, send the application by email to bursary@ojwilliams.co.uk or by post to OJ Williams Bursary Fund, Oakfield Terrace Road, Cattedown, Plymouth, Devon, PL4 0RY.
