A man has died after a car drove off the quay into the water at Porthleven last night.
A white rover hatchback was seen driving into the water shortly before 9pm.
A rescue operation from emergency services, including the inshore lifeboat, coastguard and a helicopter went to the scene.
The car was recovered from the water using a dockside crane and the man inside was taken to Truro's Royal Cornwall Hospital by ambulance.
He was pronounced dead at hospital.
