Stamp collectors in Redruth have met after a busy summer and displayed the latest additions to their collections.
Redruth Philatelic Society showed each other souvenirs from their summer holidays and a few chance discoveries.
One who had been particularly busy was chairman John Birkin, who linked Gilbert and Ellis Island stamps with one in Malta, where he had collected stamps for many years.
Another highlight was when Primrose Peacock showed the group material from The Guild of St Gabriel, a national organisation for collectors of religious philately and postcards.
