Porthleven meeting about youth club plans

Almost 70 people, including a dozen children, were at a public meeting on Wednesday to hear the latest news about Porthleven’s planned youth club.

Despite some concerns from people who would neighbour the proposed youth club at Gala Parc, almost everyone at the meeting was in favour of the project.

Porthleven’s police community support officer Jon Bell said that the police “fully supported” the youth centre project and said it would be a lot easier for officers to police, adding that youngsters told them they caused trouble because of boredom.
