A teenager has become the first youth in Helston to be given an anti-social behaviour order.

Steven Meehan, aged 16, was given the two-year ASBO on Wednesday The conditions of the order mean he cannot:

• Be under the influence of alcohol in any public place, open space or area where the public have access within the area of Helston.

• Be in the area of Meneage Street, Coinagehall Street or the Sunken Garden between 10pm and 5am.

• Intimidate or harass anyone in the area of Helston.

He is only the second person from the town to be given an order.
