Helston hospital fete raises over £1,200

A fete held by the Friends of Helston Community Hospital has raised over £1,255 for the hospital.
The money will be used to provide those little extras that make a patients stay a bit more comfortable.
Jeanne Nichols, the president of Cornwall and Isles of Scilly Leagues of Hospital and Community Friends, opened the fete.
Hospital staff, supporters and local traders all gave up their time to man stalls and provide goods to sell.
Anne Cornwell, one of the fete’s organisers, gave a special thanks to everyone who supported the day.
