Campaigning mums fighting to keep Camborne Children's Centre from closing have launched an online petition.

The parents that use Sure Start Trevu are fighting to keep the centre open arguing that it would be a huge loss if it is forced to close.

The centre, which used to be a school, has provided space for generations of learning Cornwall Council will close the centre in September, claiming this is due to the high cost of maintaining the building.

The campaign group, Save Camborne's Children Centre has slammed plans to sell it off to private developers.
