Truro’s Hall for Cornwall has thought outside the box to gain some extra funds.

Box manufacturer DS Smith Boon will donate 1p out of every box sold to the Hall for Cornwall as well as Surfers Against Sewage and Cornwall Community Foundation.

This comes after they joined forces with St Austell’s Cornish Crisp Company.

DS Boon Smith sales manager Justin O’ Neill said: “We were really impressed by the ethos of The Cornish Crisp Company from the very start and were keen to help out in any way we could.

“This is a fantastic new business with great values and a brilliant product, so we are really pleased to be involved, not just for Cornwall but for the charities involved too.”
