Teenager found dead in Newquay

The body of a 16-year-old was found at the bottom of cliffs near Tolcarne Beach, Newquay this morning.

Police were claled at 1am to the area.

It is believed that the teenage, a boy, may have fallen from the top of the cliffs. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

He has yet to be formally identified but is believed to be a 16 year old male holidaymaker who was staying locally at a camp site with a group of about 13 others. Enquiries are continuing into the circumstances and cause of death.
