The Duke and Duchess of Cornwall were in truro this afternoon to see the new integrated health centre built at Penair School.

Prince Charles and Camilla arrived at the school where they were greeted by head girl Laura Painter and student Jack Innard, celebrating his 14th birthday, as well as young Taylor Hones from Tregothnan School.

The 1200 students were all cheering and waving Union Jacks while the royal couple walked around the school.

They sat on bean bags to hear a presentation from the students about the health centre, which is one of three new health centres on school sites in Cornwall.

They then walked through the organic garden where they were shown around by school chef Jon Rankin.

After some canapes, Prince Charles unveiled the plaque to go on the health centre door, of the same school he opened 31 years ago.
