Helston cyclists ready to set off on ride

Two Helston Community College students will set off from Lands End on Monday to cycle to John O’ Groats to raise money for charity.

Not long after finishing their A-Levels, Joe Pawluk and Martin Falkus will ride the 900 miles to raise funds for Malaika Kids, a charity who support orphaned children in Tanzania who would otherwise face a life on the streets.

Joe said: “We are cycling to raise money for Malaika Kids which we want to support as it helps many orphaned children in Tanzania. Virtually all the money raised will go to the project, as overheads are minimal.

“We want to raise as much as we possibly can so please give whatever you can. Everything will be much appreciated.”
