Prince Charles and his wife Camilla are to visit Penair School in Truro next Friday, July 3.

The Princes of Wales and the Duchess of Cornwall are spending a day in the Duchy as part of their visit they will meet pupils at Penair and talk to them about their Integrated Health Centre based at the school at St Clement, which will open next month.

Building for the drop-in centre began in December last year and once fully up and running it will support pupils’ health, both physically and mentally, by offering advice on everything from drugs to sexual health.

The centre will be called Bywva, the Cornish word for “life place” or “place of life.”

The students were involved throughout the planning of the centre – including choosing the name – and support has also been given by the Princes Foundation for Integrated Health.

Other places the couple will visit during the day are Lostwithiel, where they will visit The Old Duchy Palace, St Bartholomew’s Church and Lostwithiel Museum before going to the mayor’s parlour, and Berryfields Community Centre in Bodmin, which they will officially open.
