The head teacher of Lanner and Troon primary schools is making good progress after a cycling accident at the end of last month.
Steve Brady was cycling on Camborne’s Trevu Road on April 30 when he suffered the accident and was taken to Plymouth’s Derriford hospital.
The 56-year-old is now at Truro’s Royal Cornwall Hospital and is hoping to return home soon, though there is no date set for when he will return to work at the two schools.
Pippa Pender, acting head at Lanner School, said that everyone was pleased with the progress he is making.
“It’s going to be a long road to a full recovery but he is heading in the right direction. Things are going well and although they are moving slowly, he is getting the best care and attention he can have.”
