Lanner man in hospital with serious head injuries

A man from Lanner is lying in hospital this morning after a traffic collision in Camborne.

The 56-year-old man was cycling on Trevu Road towards Camborne train station at around 2pm yesterday when he crashed – sustaining serious head injuries.

He has now been transferred to Plymouth’s Derriford Hospital for further treatment.

Police understand that a white van was in the area at the time and are asking the driver to come forward.
