Comments (0)The ever-popular BBC1 television Songs of Praise came to Truro Cathedral in 2008 to record three separate programmes. The last of those will be screened this Sunday January 11 at 6pm on BBC1.
The programme will follow presenter Diane Louise Jordan as she uncovers the secret life of seals, meets skateboarding surfers, walks in the footsteps of Cornwall’s patron saint and makes sure her visit to a Cornish tin mine goes with a bang! There's music from the Daniel Boys, Hayley Westenra and Truro Cathedral Choir. Hymns will include O God, Our Help in Ages Past; Lord Of Beauty, Thine the Splendour; and Christ Triumphant, Ever Reigning.
