Mullion Youth and Community Centre demonstrated its commitment to serving people of all ages when it hosted a community fair for the over 50s.
Advice, information and support was available on a wide range of issues including health and wellbeing, home security, leisure activities, employment, benefits entitlement, energy efficiency, befriending and adult education.
Among those visiting the event was local MP Andrew George, who was born and brought up in Mullion and attended the centre when it was a youth club.
Mr George said it would "not be long" before he was eligible for many of the services on offer and he was keen to find out what was available for people over the age of 50.
The fair, which was supported by Cornwall Works and Kerrier district council, was organised by the Kerrier Volunteer Centre to tie in with this year's Make a Difference Day.
Volunteer centre manager Richard Hocking said the aim was to help make a difference in people's lives by offering advice and information on a whole range of issues, including opportunities for volunteering and the help that can be provided through voluntary organisations.
