An injured docks worker was rushed to hospital this morning after an incident in Falmouth Harbour.
A docks vessel, Triton, was standing by the tug MTS Viscount which was towing HMS Severn when the incident took place at around 11am.
An ambulance was called and Triton sped back into port with the injured man. After being brought back to shore, he was taken to hospital for further treatment.
The extent of his injuries is not currently known.
A spokesperson from South West Ambulance Service said: "We were called at 11:03 and have attended with an operations officer and an ambulance.
"One patient has been taken to hospital for further treatment."
A&P Falmouth has been contacted for a comment.
