A Penryn man who was sentenced to nearly a decade in prison for sexually abusing children has now admitted seven more offences.
Michael Williams, 37, went before the courts in September 2010 and admitted a slew of sexual offences against children. He was sentenced to eight and a half years in prison.
He appeared at Truro Crown Court today (June 17) to admit a further seven charges of indecent assault on a girl under the age of 16, which took place between June 21 1999 and June 20 2002, before he was imprisoned.
He was due to be sentenced tomorrow afternoon (June 18), but the sentencing has now been adjourned to August 12.
Williams was well-known as a postman, taxi driver and secretary of Falmouth Town Football Club, and was said to have used his position in the community to target children.
