A TRURO man who twice used threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour has been fined a total of £50.

Christopher James Eden, aged 34, of Kerley Vale, admitted committing the offences on March 30 and April 24, in Newquay and Exeter respectively.

He also admitted failing to surrender to custody at Bodmin Magistrates' Court on May 2.

He was ordered to pay £85 costs and £30 victim surcharge.

A PORTHLEVEN man who "genuinely believed he was insured" has pleaded guilty to driving without insurance.

Adam Robson, aged 28, of Matela Close, used a Vauxhall Astra in St Keverne on September 28.
