A deer has died after it was struck by a bus during the morning rush hour earlier today.
One of the routes into Truro was partially blocked following the incident at 8.40am.
It took place on the A390 at Penstraze, near to the turn off to Chacewater.
The road has since been cleared.
A police spokesperson said: "Police attended; sadly the deer died."
He added that there were passengers on the bus at the time of the collision, but no one onboard the bus was injured.
