Police have identified a man whose body was found on Carlyon Bay beach, near St Austell, yesterday.
Officers were called by a member of the public at 10am and on arrival found a man deceased at the scene.
The man is believed to be aged in his 50s and from the St Austell area.
His next-of-kin have been informed.
The death is not being treated as suspicious.
Formal identification is yet to take place.
A file is being prepared for the coroner.
The incident comes just days after a 22 year-old woman's body was found on Perranporth beach on Monday morning.
