A car caught fire in the Penryn Asda car park at around 3pm today (Thursday February 14).
The flames were extinguished by an Asda manager, and a fire engine and officers attended the scene shortly afterwards to make sure it was safe.
The vehicle, a black Volkswagen, was cordoned off by Cornwall Fire and Rescue Service and remains in the car park for now.
