DRIVING without insurance has resulted in a fine for a Redruth man.

Jonathan Kier Barber, aged 36, of Mount Ambrose, committed the offence on September 19 on the A393.

He was fined £133 and ordered to pay £85 costs and £30 victim surcharge. His licence was endorsed with six points.

* A HELSTON woman exceeded a 30mph speed limit on the A394 at Trewennack.

Brooke Bennan, aged 21, of Bulwark Road, admitted committing the offence in a Vauxhall Corsa on August 10.

* EXCEEDING a 70mph speed limit has resulted in a fine for a Porthleven man.

James William Cowls, aged 40, of Claremont Terrace, admitted committing the offence at Ivybridge in a Ford Fiesta on August 19.

He was fined £232 and ordered to pay £85 costs and £30 victim surcharge. His licence was endorsed with six points.

* A WOMAN who failed to give the identification of a driver alleged to have committed an offence has had her case heard by magistrates.

Amy Louise Griffiths, aged 31, of Treffry Road, Truro, committed the offence on December 7.

* A 34 year old man who failed to give the identification of a driver alleged to have committed an offence has been banned.

Lewis David Evans, of Chain Walk Drive, Truro, committed the offence on October 10.

Robert John Cooper, aged 41, of St Clements Close, admitted committing the offence on September 7 in a DAF Truck, in Newquay.

* A 50 year old man who exceeded a 40mph speed limit in Tresawls Road, Truro, has been fined.

Alan Mark Driver, of Goodern Drive, Truro, admitted committing the offence in a Nissan Qashqai on July 8.
