A parade to commemorate 100 years since the end of the First World War was led from The Moor to Kimberley Park on Sunday.
Dignitaries from Falmouth Town Council and Cornwall Council as well as representatives from RNAS Culdrose and the Falmouth Lifeboat attended the ceremony in Kimberley Park.
A huge crowd gathered to watch mayor Grenville Chappel lay the first wreath at the war memorial.
Kernow Pipes and Drums led the procession from The Moor up to Kimberley Park for the 11am service led by the mayor's chaplain Father Ian Froom.
Veterans' organisations, Falmouth Army Cadets, Falmouth and Penryn Sea Cadets and the Beavers, Guides, Cubs and Scouts also attended the service.
Kimberley Park was decorated with more than 3,000 woollen poppies for the remembrance ceremony, all made by local knitting groups and volunteers dedicated to making the park look the part for the big day.
