Members of the Falmouth and Penryn Fitta Tikka Group, which currently has 25 members, recently celebrated the group’s 11th anniversary.
The group, which meets weekly at the Bosvale Community Centre, celebrated their milestone with pasties and a cake baked by member Brenda Brain. The cake was cut by Brenda and Barry Mappley, who founded the group in 2006
Fitta Tikka is a cardiac support group that provides continuous help and support to people who have suffered an heart attack and to those who want to avoid one. The group meets on Monday mornings and members take part in some light exercise for an hour or so and then catch up over a cup of tea and biscuit.
Anybody interested in joining the group should just turn up at the community centre at 10am on a Monday morning.
