Summer may only just be over, but it's time to start thinking about panto season, at least it is in Mabe where the call has gone out to anyone interested in getting involved in next year's production.

It's not long before rehearsals start for Mabe's next panto, which will be Maberella, which follows on from the success of last year's production, the Pied Piper of Primelin,

Anyone keen to have a role, either on or off stage, is encouraged to go along to the Community Hall on Sunday, October 8. There will be a read through of the script between 5.30pm and 7.30pm in preparation for allocating parts. The panto itself will be staged between March 8 and 10.

"Everyone is welcome - no experience necessary," say organisers. "We're also after set designers, sound engineers, costume designers, prop makers and anybody else who is interested in getting involved but doesn't want to act."
