A Falmouth Town Councillor has taken aim at people on mobility scooters during the latest meeting of the full council.
Bob O'Shea, one of the representatives for Arwenack ward, took the opportunity during a report by the town centre manager to ask what could be done about the number of people using the buggies in town.
He said: "Going against the regulated flow of traffic, they are a nightmare. I've been bumped by one several times.
"There are too many of them going the wrong way through the town, and fast.
"Someone will get hurt soon."
