A man was left with chest and back injuries following a stabbing in a residential street in Falmouth on Monday morning.
Police say a man in his 30s suffered stab wounds in the assault, which took place just after midnight at an address in Berkeley Cottages.
Officers from Falmouth CID have been putting flyers through neighbours' letterboxes, requesting that anyone with any information about the assault come forward and help with enquiries.
A police spokesperson said one incident of grievous bodily harm was "currently under investigation."
They said: "An ambulance was called to the scene, officers attended, and enquiries are ongoing."
The spokesperson added that no arrests have been made, and the victims injuries are "not life threatening."
